2018 – 2022: University Assistant (Prae-Doc), doctoral researcher and lecturer at the Department of English and American Studies, University of Vienna – specialising in Victorian literature and popular culture. Title of my doctoral thesis: “The Plague of Poisonous Literature Reappraised; or, Reading the penny dreadfuls’ patterns of circulation”; PhD passed with distinction in December 2022.
